Victorian Skills Commissioner releases Supported Independent Living Sector Snapshot
The Victorian Skills Commissioner has developed and launched a Sector Snapshot for the Supported Independent Living sector.
This report provides an overview of the current and future skills and training requirements of the Disability Supported Independent Living (SIL) sub-sector in Victoria, with a focus on the elements of the workforce using VET courses and their career pathways. It also considers the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on the future jobs an skilling needs of the sector. The success of this work relied on insights from experienced employers.
